Ward 7 Private Movie Screening: Avatar - The Way of Water (1/27/2023)

With your help, donations and prayers we were able to take nearly ~100 school age Ward 7 kids to a FREE private movie screening at the Alamo Theater in Washington, DC. It was a very exciting and rewarding event where we bonded with the parents, students and most importantly spent quality time with our kids.

Chocolate City Community Bike Ride (6/4/2022)

Over ~200 local residents attended the 1st annual Chocolate City Bike Ride. This event focused on providing families East of the River opportunities to experience outdoor biking and several other activities. During the event we gave away over ~75 bikes to local children and families - not to mention we biked through the city listening to the sweet sounds of a local DC band.

Cyberninjas S.T.E.A.M. Festival @ The Francis Gregory Library - Hillcrest, Ward 7 Washington, DC (9/10/2022)

Learning is fundamental to future development and growth for our students. I was proud to advocate, plan and collaborate with Cyberninjas Global, LLC to bring the first-ever Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) Festival to Ward 7 at the Francis Gregory Library. This free event exposed and focused children to the sciences by connecting them to meaningful out of school experiences.
