Greetings Neighbors, 

 

Happy New Year! I am extremely excited, humbled and elated that you have given me the another opportunity to continue serving. Serving as your ANC Commissioner, representing Single Member District 7b06, has been a tremendous undertaking and a joy. 

 

During my first term in office, we were able to work together collaboratively to bring about systematic and equitable change to improve our neighborhood. We cleaned up the abandoned cars through the neighborhood, many of our streets were repaved and speed humps were installed, playground equipment was repaired, we held a number of exciting community events (bike rides/giveaways, back to school events, etc.) and most importantly we increased overall community engagement. 

 

A tremendous amount of progress was made; however, there’s more work to be done. I welcome the opportunity to engage with you even more as we seek to continue improving our home. Let’s not take anything or anyone for granite because together we can accomplish more. 

 

I look forward to a prosperous 2023 and with your help we will make Hillcrest the best community in the District of Columbia.
